It is with great sadness that we’ve had to close the doors for the foreseeable future at Derby Spectrum Winds. Dfficulties with increasing costs, and finding people to do the day-to-day administration of the band have led us to an unresolvable position at this time.
If you’re a novice or junior level player, and you are interested in starting up a novice or junior level band, the committee of Derby Concert Band would love to hear from you to get what was a fantastic little band up and running again.
We have the music. We have the space. We just need the time and
dedication to keep it going. Drop us a line…
In the mean time, we’d like to thank all the people who played with, listened to, helped and supported Derby Spectrum Winds during it’s four very successful years of running.
It’s been great fun. We’d love to make it happen again some day.
